[scm-user] Health showing bad in Cloudera Management Service

First of all, please bear with my ignorance. I just installed CDH5.2 on my virtual environment for just simply playing around and so don't know much of this yet.

I see status with Bad Health with four services such as Host Monitor, Event Server ,etc (please see the attached).
I clicked around the site to see what the details and cause for the alert, but could not fathom where to look at for the cause.

So, would anybody tell me where to look at to find out the cause for the bad health or what to do?

On the left side where you see all bad for the management's services click on it. It will let you know that specific error which made them bad.

M uh guess since you did it's the test Vm play thingy I am guessing it could be the space on the log directory of the management services is to less which actually did made them to go bad because it too low than expected please change the values and adjust the thresholds you should be good.

Thanks Deepak. You were right on with the log directory space. It also had a NTPD not running on each node resulting in the time synchronization.

Oh yeah ntpd would do that too. Glad it worked out good luck.
